What counts? Loading, driving between the moving addresses and unloading count as working time. After the minimum, working time is rounded up to the next 15-minute block. For example, 2 hours 10 minutes is billed as 2 hours 15 minutes: $508.75 incl. GST with the flat return / call-out fee, before agreed extras.

Interstate pricing that fits your move.
The route, load, access and delivery window make a real difference. Interstate and regional long-distance moves receive a separate written quote.
Pay for the agreed load
Where offered, your quote shows the agreed cubic metres (m³), price per m³, any minimum and separate charges. Ask about shared-load availability if your dates are flexible.
A truck for your move
We assess your inventory, route and timing to prepare a dedicated-service quote. Collection and delivery dates, crew and inclusions are confirmed in writing.

Where hourly pricing is agreed, the quote states the hourly rate and whether it covers loading, unloading, outward travel and return travel, with an estimated total time.
Check the complete price: loading and unloading, fuel, tolls, access, GST, delivery windows and any storage. A price per m³ alone does not describe the whole service.

Advertised rates and economic conditions
AA Furniture Removals reserves the right to review and revise all advertised rates for future quotations in response to changes in fuel, labour, transport and supplier costs, or broader economic conditions.
Written quotations and validity
Website prices and estimates are indicative and do not constitute a binding quotation. Your written quotation confirms the applicable rates, service scope, inclusions, exclusions and charges. Any stated quotation validity period applies. Expired quotations are subject to review before reissue.
Accepted quotations and variations
Changes to advertised rates do not alter the rates or terms of an accepted quotation. Any variation to the agreed service scope or rates requires written agreement before the additional or varied work proceeds.
For hourly services, final charges remain based on actual billable time, the agreed minimum and other agreed charges. An estimated total is not a fixed price unless expressly stated in the accepted quotation.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Is the hourly rate the total price?
The standard local minimum is $462.50 including GST: 2 working hours at $185.00 per hour, plus one $92.50 return / call-out fee. Extra working time and separately agreed services increase the total.
When does working time count?
For the standard local service, working time covers loading, driving between the moving addresses and unloading. The flat return / call-out fee is separate. Your written quote confirms the charging basis for any different service.
Do you charge more on weekends?
The standard two-mover local service remains $185.00 per hour including GST, with the same minimum and return / call-out fee. Three-mover rates vary by day as shown above. Availability is confirmed for your date.
Can one mover do my move?
We can assess a one-mover and truck option for a suitable small load. Tell us the item sizes, weights and access. We will confirm what the mover can safely handle, any help needed, and the complete price before booking.
Can you give me a fixed interstate price?
Yes, we can prepare a written interstate quote after reviewing the route, inventory, dates and access. The quote states the pricing basis, what is included and how changes to the agreed move are handled.
What about deposits, cancellation and insurance?
Your written quote and booking terms confirm any deposit, payment dates, cancellation or rescheduling charges, and the applicable insurance cover and exclusions. Check those details before accepting. An enquiry alone does not reserve a truck or create a payment.
